What's New at Tax Notes?

Tax Notes Transfer Pricing Center

This new tool for transfer pricing practitioners is the brainchild of our transfer pricing reporter, Ryan Finley. He has collected and indexed all the regs, cases, guidance, and guidelines that are pertinent to transfer pricing to create this unique resource.  With a quick reference comparison table mapping the OECD guidelines to U.S. regulations, plus court opinions and key filings for major U.S. transfer pricing cases, Tax Notes Transfer Pricing Center is your indispensable guide to everything transfer pricing.

Real-Time Publishing

The Tax Notes team is now publishing documents throughout the business day. These will appear in the lower right pane of the TaxNotes.com homepage.

Now, you can see court opinions, notices of hearings, and other documents in real time – no more waiting until the next business morning to see them. Our JUST PUBLISHED items still include our expert editor-written summaries and PDFs of the source documents. Now they’ll be available to you more quickly.

Document Comparison

The  Document Comparison tool lets you see the differences between final and proposed regs instantly.  Look for the orange Compare icon at the top of Treasury decisions.  Clicking this icon will launch the comparison tool showing the redline of changes.

This feature allows you to run a redline to compare a Treasury decision with the proposed regs. In the next year, we’ll add this comparison capability to more types of documents.
